About my writing
I find great joy and fulfillment in writing fantastical tales as well as in writing non-fiction works, so I channel my creative energy and personal passions into writing whenever I can. Admittedly, my writing is primarily geared toward Christian audiences, but I like to think there is something in my books for everyone.
My work tends to reflect my convictions, sometimes subtly and at other times quite pointedly, however I strive to avoid letting my stories become too preachy. It is important to me that my fictional books are a vehicle for proclaiming the Gospel, but I always want to see that happen as part of a great story. Likewise, it's important to me that my nonfiction work is enjoyable and accessible, so I try to write those books in a way that makes them conversational and easy to read. My writing touches on an array of topics from the technical to the theological, but hopefully always in a way that is honoring to God. Biblical creation is a common thread in much of my writing.
